and PG. At the intersection of gender and other characteristics, female students also tend to leave with better degrees. Gaps are more pronounced at the intersection of gender and ethnicity. Work to address this is at an early stage. Black students have the largest awarding gap, with black female students receiving better degrees than black males across UG and PG. Female students registering a disability are more likely than males to be awarded good degrees; the same applies to Asian and Chinese PG students. We will continue to work on awarding gaps relating to FY students. Alumni: maintaining CORE values WBS offers distinctive alumni benefits. Our global alumni engagement team interact with the community through practices that embody our CORE values. o Newly established in 2021/22, the Global Alumni Network has been re-structured around six regions: North America, Europe, China, UAE, Singapore, and India. Within each, there is a leadership team of three chairs, who work with the global alumni team to run events and provide support. 43% of all chairs are female. o Operating for the last 12 years, the WBS Alumni Mentoring Programme is a further example of an innovative practice that develops individuals. It is a two-year programme designed to offer students and alumni access to confidential guidance from a WBS mentor. In 2022/23, 56% of mentees and 25% of mentors were female. Work to address the underrepresentation of female mentors is underway. o Providing leadership within the UoW, WBS manages the Warwick Women’s Professional Network that brings together alumni, students, and staff, to explore issues that impact women’s careers. Led by a team of v olunteer ambassadors the network delivers face-to-face and virtual events, typically hosted at the Shard.

o Alumni are able to continue their learning. Through the MBA Alumni Scheme, alumni are able to take two modules from the MBA portfolio without charge. The uptake reflects the gender composition of the population (32% female, 62% male, 6% unknown, between 2019/20 and 2022/23).
