Internships & Co-ops Internship and career services professionals with industry-specific specialties assist you in finding valuable educational experiences to add to your resume. Curricular Practical Training (CPT) allows students to receive academic credit for co-op/internship experience and learn on-the-job skills prior to earning their degree. You must be a full-time student for at least one year and choose a program where this is required in order to qualify. Optional Practical Training (OPT) is recommended for post-graduation co-ops/internships and provides students with a 12-month work authorization. You must be a full-time student for at least two consecutive semesters and plan to seek employment in the U.S. in your field(s) of study to qualify. Internships in electrical and computer engineering are well-paid positions and may include benefits such as housing and relocation allowances.

He works hands-on with the latest technologies in areas such as client systems, wearables, virtual reality and artificial intelligence. “Embry-Riddle is shaping the next generation of aviation and aerospace leaders. At Embry-Riddle, Ghaith earned multiple flight ratings, became a certified aircraft dispatcher and served as a ground instructor in the Aviation Learning Center. He attributes much of his success to ERLI. Now a pilot for Saudia Airlines, he is back home and training for his Airbus 320 rating.
