Black and White Photography A Timeless Remembrance By Marshall Fogel and Henry Yee
PSA/DNA Original Photograph Guide
Black and white photography is best described as an art form that can be enhanced by the creative use of light and contrasting shadows; and when great photographers fine-tune their lenses and shutter speeds to create these effects, they manage to evoke remarkably cogent emotions through their subjects.
There is a timeless mystery within the images of black and white photographs that allows viewers to look beyond color and into the subject’s soul. Meaningfully, this is a process that can also lead us to pause in reflection and remembrance of the past.
