B. Definition of ACCESSORY USE. An accessory use is a structure or use which is subordinate in purpose or size to a principal structure or use on the same zoning lot, and serves the occupants or function of the principal structure or use. 1. Exception: Recreational areas for swimming, basketball, tennis and similar activities are an accessory use , even if larger in area than the principal use. C. Permitted Accessory Uses and Structures include, but are not limited to, the following examples: 1. ATMs. 2. Buildings which are permanent and enclosed, including detached GARAGES, POOL HOUSES, and STORAGE SHEDS. 3. CARPORTS. 4. ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS, Level 1 or Level 2. 6. Guest houses without kitchen facilities, where used for housing occasional guests of the principal's occupants, and not as rental units or for permanent occupancy. 7. Off-street parking and loading space as regulated by Article 6 of these Zoning Regulations. 8. OUTDOOR STRUCTURES, including arbors, gazebos, patio covers, pergolas, flagpoles, fences, and walls, as well as permanently installed children's playhouses, trellises, outdoor kitchens, barbecues, grills, pizza ovens, and sculpture. 9. PARCEL DELIVERY LOCKERS. (See Zoning Regulations, Section 4-102.) 5. Emergency tornado or fallout shelters.

ARTICLE 7. ACCESSORY USES & STRUCTURES, TEMPORARY USES, & HOME OCCUPATIONS 100 Accessory Uses and Structures A. Authorization. In connection with a permitted principal use, accessory uses and structures are permitted in any zoning district. Zoning Permits for Accessory Structures Zoning Permits are required for accessory structures only if they exceed 120 square feet at grade. Zoning Permits are also required for fences in the front yard setback and for satellite dish antennas. Zoning Permits for:
