19. Vending machines. Outdoor, self-service vending machines. 20. When located in a permitted business or industrial building, and used only by employees , the following: a. Child care centers. (See definition of CHILD CARE FACILITY.) b. Personal care services , such as barbers, beauticians, nail salons, massage therapists, physical health and fitness services, and the like. c. Restaurants. (See definition of RESTAURANT.) 21. When located in a permitted hotel or motel , b. D. Use Limitations. 1. An accessory structure must not be constructed and occupied before construction begins on the principal structure to which it is accessory. 2. Accessory structures must not be located in required front yard setbacks. 3. Outdoor storage is not permitted as an accessory use, except as specifically permitted. a. No VEHICLE or portion of one may be used on a residential zoning lot for storage, except for vehicles used for periodic construction. b. Railroad box cars, construction trailers, dumpsters, shipping containers, or portable storage containers are not permitted permanently on a residential zoning lot. 4. Accessory structures must not be located in easements, and may not block drainage. E. Bulk Regulations. 1. Accessory structures and uses must comply with the same side and front yard setbacks required for the principal structure, unless they are permitted obstructions in required yards. (See Zoning Regulations, Section 3-102D.) a. Exception: Where there is a solid fence at least 6 feet in height, storage buildings may abut the property line. Where there is no such fence, storage buildings must be at least 4 feet from the side yard property line. 2. Accessory structures must be set back at least 5 feet from the rear lot line. a. Exception: Garages with entrances facing alleys must be set back at least 20 feet.
