C. Final Inspection. The Subdivider must notify the designated engineer (see Subdivision Regulations, Section 7-107B1) when all improvements within the area of the final plat are completed. 1. The designated engineer must then conduct a final inspection of all installed improvements. 2. The designated engineer must notify the Subdivider in writing if the final inspection discovers any defects or deficiencies in the improvements, or if the installation deviates from the final engineering plans and specifications. a. The Subdivider must correct such defects, deficiencies or deviations within 6 months of the date of notification. b. Subdivider is solely responsible for the cost of corrections. c. After corrections are made, the Subdivider must notify the applicable engineer that the work is ready for re-inspection.

D. Acceptance of Improvements. 1. Certification of Obligations Paid. After the final

inspection is passed, the Subdivider must certify to the Subdivision Administrator that all obligations incurred in the construction of the required improvements have been properly paid and settled. 2. Within 15 days after the Subdivider submits the Certification of Obligations Paid, the designated engineer (see Subdivision Regulations, Section 7-107B1) must certify to the applicable Governing Body and to any utility providers that all improvements have been installed, and that they conform to the engineering plans and specifications accompanying the final plat. 3. After the applicable Governing Body receives certification of the required improvements, the Governing Body must formally accept the improvements by resolution. a. Acceptance of improvements must conform to all requirements of these Subdivision Regulations and to all other applicable statutes, ordinances and regulations. 4. Improvements become the property of the Governing Body or the utility provider.
