BENCHMARK: A surveying mark made in some object which is permanently fixed in the ground, showing the height of that point in relation to sea level.
BICYCLE: A device with 2 tandem wheels, with at least one wheel over 14 inches in diameter, which is propelled by human power, and on which a person may ride. 1. For the purposes of these regulations, tandem bicycles, unicycles, tricycles, recumbent bikes, and other types of human-powered cycles are regulated as bicycles. Such devices may have more than 2 wheels, and may carry more than 1 person. 2. For the purposes of these regulations, motorized versions of any of these devices are not considered bicycles. BERM: A low mound of earth shaped with gently sloping sides, designed to add visual interest to a flat landscape, screen undesirable views, provide privacy, showcase plants, or mitigate noise.
