SOCIAL OR SERVICE CLUB: A nonprofit social, fraternal, union, service, professional or honorary organization whose members freely associate for a mutually beneficial purpose. 1. A social or service club is operated for bona fide members who pay annual dues, and who choose a board of directors, executive committee, or similar body to manage the club. 2. A social or service club owns, hires or leases premises, and use of the premises is restricted to members and their guests. a. Food, meals and beverages may be served on club premises, provided adequate dining space and kitchen facilities are available. b. Alcoholic beverages may be sold or served to members and their guests, provided that: (1) Alcoholic beverage service is secondary and incidental to the promotion of some other common objective of the organization (2) Sale or service of alcoholic beverages is in compliance with all federal, state, county and local laws. STORAGE SHED: A freestanding structure accessory to a principal structure, used solely for storage of inanimate objects. (See Zoning Regulations, Section 7-100 on Accessory Uses and Structures.)
