Bred Heifers
The registered bred heifers and registered cows have been ultra- sounded and sexed with complete calving information in the cata- log. These females were out on corn stalks and treated just as the ones we plan to calve out, until December 15th when they were sorted off for clipping. Like the 2-year-old bulls, this is another phase where we can see the benefits of our breeding decisions. These females will have been poured with Clean-Up II and be up- to-date on their pre-calving Scour Boss and breeding vaccinations before the sale. Registered Bred Heifer and Cow Offering
Lot 118 & 119 lead off a fancy set of registered bred heifers this year. All these heifers are from the heart of our replacement pen. We have based the catalog order primarily off their calving due dates. Both are Trust Fund daughters, and equally hard to part with! You will appreciate the depth of body, fleshing ability, and feminine look these half-sisters have. After calving a couple sets of these Trust Fund daughters, we are confident these heifers will go out and work anywhere. Great mothering ability and excellent udder quality are just a couple of the necessary traits these two great females will excel in.
