En los sectores de permanencia de deportistas se proponen cubiertas vegetales que permiten mantener temperaturas ambientales estables, minimizando usos de climatización mecánica durante el año. La envolvente verde y traslúcida del proyecto refuerza sus características sustentables y una imagen distintiva, que simboliza nuevos conceptos de diseño en instalaciones deportivas en Chile.
Small openings in the upper zones generate cones of enough natural ventilation to preserve comfortable temperatures in public areas during periods of heat. Green roofs in the athlete’s areas maintain stable room temperatures, minimizing the use of mechanical cooling during the year. The green and translucent envelope of the project reinforces its sustainable features and presents a distinctive look that symbolizes the new design concepts inspiring sports facilities in Chile.
