FOOD TRANSFER
➢ Transfer products received at the loading dock to sanitized containers. Ensure that trolleys are cleaned and sanitized after use.
➢ Dirty and abused outer cartons are not allowed in chillers.
➢ Clean, original cartons may be stored in the Central storage chillers only.
➢ Delicate fruits, i.e. mangoes, pears, berries, etc. maybe stored in original containers to protect the product.
➢ Transport raw meats, poultry and seafood in separate containers.
➢ Food should be covered during transportation, with the exception of large whole fruits or vegetables.
