Cardworks is currently decisioning 30,000 applications a month through Provenir. The company expects to reach a total of 500,000 applications this year with rapid growth in subsequent years. “We see tremendous potential in this market. Cardworks subsidiary, Merrick Bank, has successfully used the Provenir Risk Decisioning Platform to manage its credit card application decisioning for several years. “From our experience at Merrick, we knew Provenir would give us the flexibility we needed. And it would be easy to create a separate instance of the Provenir solution for Cardworks,” says Greg Linakis, executive vice president at Cardworks Inc. With a separate instance, Cardworks Servicing gained complete control over the process while leveraging the decisioning rules and integrations developed by Merrick Bank.
