As you start your descent over the crystal blue waters and white sandy beaches, you know you’ve arrived at Fort Lauderdale, FL, destination for the 48th Annual NADOA Institute ! The Marriott Harbor Resort and Spa is only 10 minutes from Hollywood airport unless you hit that pesky draw bridge at a quarter past or to the hour; it may take a few minutes longer. We had to make a few adjustments this year due to the strain COVID put on our industry but we have 3 busy days of EDUCATION, FOOD, PRIZES and a little HULA & MOONWALK . As always, we’ll have greeters to meet you as you arrive and show you where to go. The Program Committee has worked to be sure that you, our members, receive the best education, most relevant to our industry and what will help you in your future. This year all classes and General Sessions are on the 3rd floor where the GRAND BALLROOM is located. As we always tell you, we all have different body temperatures, so be sure to PACK A SWEATER OR LIGHT JACKET . The Hotel Committee has done a wonderful job picking out some delicious food for our meals and breaks. I wouldn’t want to miss any, if I were you. Hospitality has planned TWO fun events; Wednesday’s Welcome Reception is a LUAU theme, so make sure you pack your Hawaiian shirt or outfit. Thursday night, we’re headed back to the 80’s DUDE !! There will be an AWESOME prize for the best costume besides great food, music and other events. You don’t want to miss out on this year’s Institute, now go log on to the NADOA website to REGISTER
and make your HOTEL RESERVATIONS . Room rates are $199 a night. That rate is good 3 days post should you want to have a little vacation time afterwards. The deadline to register or make hotel reservations is AUGUST 10, 2021 Be sure to check out the rest of the Magazine as all of the Committees have been hard at work and have provided you with EXCELLENT information.
