The Witch Who Couldn’t Sleep Sunday 26 October 2025 | The Anstice, Madeley

Based on a story from Steven Lee’s bestselling ‘How The Koala Learnt To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales’ this gentle, heartwarming show is just what you need to enjoy a cosy, cuddly time together with your family. Pop on your favourite pyjamas and join this enchantingly beautiful show presented with a magical mixture of live action, music and animation. A “Story Time” family musical from the creators of There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly. Florence Nightingale: The Lady With the Hammer Wednesday 29 October 2025 | The Anstice, Madeley Oddsocks presents the story of Florence Nightingale in their irreverent, hilarious style. At a time and place when men knew best, an upstart in a skirt, dared to talk back and defy her superiors. Set during The Crimean war of 1854, this is the story of how a determined, and often impatient woman, challenged the male-dominated medical establishment of the time. Grandad Anansi Sunday 2 November 2025 | Belmont Hall, Wellington Join intrepid characters Abi and her grandad, in this humorous and heartfelt intergenerational adventure, as they step into the unexpected. With evocative live music, Grandad Anansi is an uplifting tale of love, courage and letting go that celebrates storytelling and shines a light on Jamaican culture and the Windrush generation. Done to Death, By Jove Friday 5 December 2025 | Cosy Hall, Newport Nicholas Collett and Gavin Robertson pretend everything goes wrong, argue with one another, forget lines, and skip cues. But these are brilliantly rehearsed performers, skilled in their craft. The play’s plot within a play is a mishmash of Poirot, Holmes, and Marple mysteries and is full of mishap and slapstick catastrophes in every act – a true Great British detective tradition.

Theatre On Tour will continue once Telford Theatre reopens, delivering arts and performances across the community.
