n Oliver! Jr the musical, based on Charles Dickens’ novel, follows the journey of orphaned Oliver Twist in 1830s London. After escaping a harsh workhouse and apprenticeship, Oliver is drawn into the life of pickpockets led by the charismatic Fagin. He initially believes they are making wallets, unaware of their true profession. Oliver’s life then takes a turn when he is falsely accused of theft and taken in by the kind Mr. Brownlow, who later discovers Oliver is his long-lost grandson. The story culminates with the tragic death of Nancy, who is murdered by Bill Sykes, and the eventual capture of Sykes, while Oliver finds a home with Mr Brownlow.
