WELCOME
We welcome the following new staff to the Junior School
James Fraser n James joins us as KS2 teacher who has over 16 years’ experience teaching in Key Stage 1 and 2. He joins us after 11 years teaching at James Dixon Primary School in Anerley where his passion was providing learning outside the classroom opportunities for children and delivering Forest School sessions. He holds a PGDip in illustration from Central Saint Martins, London and a PGCE from Goldsmiths University. He has a partner and two teenage boys and loves cycling and visiting galleries, watching live music and films.
Samantha Jenkins n Samantha joins us as a KS2 teacher with over 10 years’ experience across London. She joins after four years teaching at Old Palace School where she enjoyed teaching Maths, English, gymnastics and hula hooping, as well as other primary subjects. She holds a BA in Music from Sussex University and a PGCE from Greenwich University. She has a beautiful 1 year old boy called Lucian and a British Blue Shorthair.
Megan Kemp n Megan joins us as a Graduate Assistant Teacher and this is her first job in a school although she has six years’ experience teaching and coaching swimming. Megan joins us upon completion of her master’s in public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, running and exploring new parts of London.
Marsha Phipps n Marsha has joined us a KS2 teacher from Redriff Primary School, where she spent eight years teaching and leading in areas such as Maths, History and EDI. She holds a BSc in Psychology and has experienced work within the field of Children’s Services and Education for 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting, painting and looking after her plants, as well as being a devoted mother and partner.
Camille Toubassi n Camille joins us as After School Care and Lunchtime Supervisor and Receptionist a 20+ year career that spanned two global professional services firms working in Management Consulting. Her roles covered public and private sector clients and included several leadership positions such as Global Head of Digital Strategy and Transformation, and International Development Head of Programming for the Middle East and North Africa. She holds an Executive Business Leader Certification from HEC Paris, an M.A. from King’s College London and a B.A. from Smith College, USA. She is a qualified teacher of History and Social Studies. Outside of work Camille loves travelling and spending time with her family and friends, including her two sons, age 12 and 8.
