Giovanni Botti, m.d., comes from Salò, Lake Garda, Italy and is the head manager and the main surgeon of Villa Bella Clinic, one of the best equipped and most advanced cosmetic-surgery- dedicated clinics in Europe. Working as a nurse and studying medicine in the night time, finally he received his medical de- gree from the Milan State University. He then went on to com- plete his training in plastic surgery with prof. Faivre (Montreuil Hospital, Paris, France) and with prof. Stricker (University Hospi- tal, Nancy, France). In the last 20 years he has been travelling all over the world as an invited speaker on the different aspects of aesthetic surgery and has taught live & video demonstrations in events organized by both Universities and Scientific Societies in more than 30 different countries. He has been published extensively in the fields of face and breast aesthetic surgery, contributing numerous articles and book chapters to medical publications, including the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery Journal. Dr. Botti has authored four complete monographies translated in English and Spanish. In addition, he has pioneered new surgical techniques including mid face and neck lift procedures and mamma plasties. He has always been deeply involved in charity issues and has helped with important contributions various humanitarian missions all over the world (ISAPS-LEAF, AICPE onlus, Medecin sans frontieres, etc). He enjoys traveling with his family, guitar playing, and cooking in his off hours. And, perhaps even more important, he loves his job! Heidi A Waldorf, MD is a nationally and internationally respect- ed expert and sought after lecturer in the field of Dermatology and Cosmetic Medicine, including skin rejuvenation, soft tissue augmentation, cosmetic use of botulinum toxin, noninvasive fat reduction, laser and other energy based device technology and cosmeceuticals. Dr. Waldorf completed her undergraduate and medical edu- cation and training at Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania, after which she completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery.
