DR. A. C. GAEBELEIN

D R. GAEBELEIN was with the Bible Institute during the month of August, speaking on Sunday morning, afternoon and night, and on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights during the week. This is his third consecutive annual visit to us. His messages have been of the character to draw large audi ences—from 1200 to 1500 people on Sunday mornings, and over 2000 on Sunday afternoon. His evening audiences during the week have num bered from 500 to 600. This, in the middle of August, is a splendid testi mony to the value placed upon his messages by the people in this sec tion. Dr. Gaebelein has a constitutency of his own; people have been com ing from all sections of the city and surrounding country, from as ’far away as fifty miles. His themes have been those appropriate to the times in which we are living. His message one Sunday afternoon, on

“Coming Events Casting Their Shadow,” was one of the strongest messages ever delivered in the Bible Institute Auditorium, and evoked the most hearty commendation, the audi ence even breaking out into applause several times. Dr. Gaebelein is in a class all by himself. His long years of faithful study of the Bible and his constant platform work, have produced in him a man of remarkable power. He is perfectly genuine. His messages are simple and scholarly, practical and spiritual. He is doing a great work in arousing the interest of people throughout the United States in the great prophetic things of the Bible. He has endeared very many people to himself during these many years of his ministry, and his constitutency is constantly increasing. We thank God for this man and pray that God will keep him until the coming of the Lord.
