n response to the ongoing Covid (19) situation Hollis Morgan have released their Online Auctions service which is a new, innovative and pioneering platform for buying land and property .
It provides al l the benefits synonymous with traditional auctions, including: speed and certainty of sale, transparency and zero risk of gazumping or double-sel l ing, but with the added advantage of being able to bid pressure- free from the comfort of your own home or office via desktop, tablet or mobi le phone. A Straight forward process from start to finish In order to bid at Hol l is Morgan Onl ine Auctions you wi l l first need to create an account by providing your contact detai ls. You wi l l be required to verify your emai l address, by cl icking an activation l ink that we’l l send to you via emai l. Once you’ve created an account you can ‘watch’ lots that you’re interested in – you’l l be kept up-to-date
asked to veri fy your mobi le number and upload copies of your photo ID (e.g. driver’s l icence or passport) and recent proof of address (dated within the last 3 months). This is required so we can easi ly keep in touch and helps us confirm your identity in the event of you purchasing a lot. Legal position once you have won the auction We offer property for sale by immediate, unconditional contract. This means that the fal l of the electronic gavel constitutes an exchange of contracts between the buyer and sel ler. Both parties are legal ly bound to complete the transaction within the stated time period. We will guide you through to completion If you are the successful purchaser, we’l l be in touch fol lowing the onl ine auction to discuss the next steps. The system wi l l take the bidder security amount from your registered debit card (al l underbidders wi l l have their hold on funds released); the contract wi l l then be signed on your behal f with copies being sent to both your sol icitor and the sel ler’s sol icitor.
