As Goes the Church, So Goes the Nation

A true friend corrects and rebukes you when you are wrong. A legiti- mate friend will never ab- solve you of any evil you do. True Christians will challenge those that don’t adhere to the full truth of Scripture — be- cause that’s called love. “Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.” The Church is respon- sible for the broken “moral compass” of this nation … and has traded God’s absolute truth for the lies of Satan — and the new ungodly stan- dards set forth by our evil and vile culture. As goes the Church, so goes the nation? Well friends, take a good look around! Our nation is growing darker by the minute — and whose fault is that? Just who is responsible for our na- tion’s steep decline into immorality? Take a good look in the mirror … WE ARE! “God will hold the Church accountable for the condition of the na- tion.” And why wouldn’t He? At our last “Pastors Huddle” in Minnesota, Lee Brainard told us, “The Western world was formed and built upon the Bible.” And just who is it that’s responsible to continue to teach the truth of the Bible, building our na- tion on a solid biblical foundation? WE ARE! But today, our churches are filled with those with “itchy ears” … and pastors are more than happy to hand out as many Q-tips as neces- sary to keep their sheep comfortable — and re- turning next Sunday. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 warns us that there would come a time when people will not accept true spiritual teaching — the truth of Scripture. Instead, they will seek out teachers — pastors — who will tell them only what they want to hear. They don’t want to be held account- able for their sins and many pastors today are happy to oblige. Pastors are no longer willing to make their sheep squirm in their seats by preach- ing on sin because they need them to come back next Sunday, so they pass out “candy cane” shaped Q-tips for those “itchy ears.” At our recent “Pastors Huddle,” the Huddle, speaker Lee Brainard told us to “Take the Bible as it is written!” He also shared, “God said what He meant; and He meant what He said.” So given that, in regard to abortion: “Thou shall not kill!” Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” This verse is emphasizing God’s divine foreknowledge and pur-

In regard to the “trans ideology”: Genesis 1:17, “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He cre- ated them.” Matthew 18:6, “If any- one causes one of these little ones, those who be- lieve in Me, to stumble, it would be better for them to have a millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.” But, how many of you have caved to our evil culture and have in- stalled “trans bath- rooms” within your churches … perpetuat- ing the lie? In regard to pastors/teachers: Proverbs 28:10, “Who- ever leads the upright along an evil path will fall into their own trap, but the blameless will receive a good inheri- tance.” James 3:1, “Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, because you know that we will receive a stricter judgment.” God meant what He said … and said what He meant! This pattern of disobe- dience and cowardice within the Church has been around for decades, dating back to the early ‘60s. But as pastor Wise has written,

In regard to homosexu- ality: Leviticus 18:22, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomi- nation.” Romans 1:26-27, “Be- cause of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were in- flamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty of their error.” But, how many churches have a pride flag planted on their church lawns … and the cowardly avoid this topic as well — or worse, pro- mote and justify this de- viant behavior which God calls an “abomination?” In regard to marriage: Genesis 2:24, “That is why a man leaves his fa- ther and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh.” Genesis 1:28, “And God blessed them, and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth and subdue it.’”
