Finance Manager Position Contractual Position / Full Time Six (6) months period with the possibility of renewal Non-Unionized Position

Under the Executive Director’s appointment, the Finance Manager will oversee the operation of the finance and payroll functions for the PRCS. The Finance Manager will provide and coordinate accurate and timely financial information as required. The licensee will develop and maintain processes to ensure the integrity of reporting to internal stakeholders, government, funders, and partner agencies. The incumbent will have strong analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently with the willingness to take initiatives in a pressure environment. Essential employment requirements: • Completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or commerce • Designation of chartered or CPA professional accountant or presently registered in CPA program to obtain designation • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience • Experience in the public or not-for-profit sector is an asset • In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting processes • High level of competence in Microsoft applications, accounting and payroll systems (Advanced Acomba is an asset) • An in-depth knowledge of provincial health care reporting standards is an asset • Bilingualism.
