CHAPTER SIX | A DAY UNLIKE ANY OTHER
Tribute in Light is an art installation created in remembrance of the 9/11 terrorist attack. Consisting of 88 vertical searchlights arranged in two columns of light to represent the Twin Towers, the installation is located six blocks south of the World Trade Center. First presented six months after 9/11 and then every year thereafter on the night of September 11, the lights can be seen from dusk to dawn from up to 60 miles away.
