All4Labels Acquires Three Nilpeter PANORAMA Presses Newly formed All4Labels has acquired three new Nilpeter PANORAMA Hybrid digital presses. Recently upgraded with a complete re-design of the converting and flexo printing units, as well as a major upgrade of press software, Nilpeter’s digi- tal product line, PANORAMA, covers a wide and varied spectrum of customer requirements, from stand-alone to all-round, and value-added hybrid configurations. All three of the presses purchased by All4Labels support 5-color InkJet engines in various combina- tions with flexo processes, hot foil/embossing, and Quick-Change die-cutting. “The three PANORAMA Hybrids will be installed at different All4Labels locations across Europe and fol- low our strategy to set new industry standards in terms of flexibility, customization, and supply chain excellence,” said TorstenWietholz, Corporate Director of All4Labels. PIA To Offer OSHA Compliance Workshop The Printing Industries of America will be hosting hands-on, comprehensive OSHA compliance work- shop,Wednesday, October 11, and Thursday, October 12, at its headquarters inWarrendale, Pennsylvania. During the workshop, participants will gain an un- derstanding of key OSHA regulations, compliance strategies, elements of required written programs, and how to respond to an OSHA inspection. Partici- pants will receive an OSHA compliance information package complete with written program templates, PIA’s OSHA Primer, and other valuable resources. Ghent Workgroup Welcomes Ultimate TechnoGraphics Ultimate TechnoGraphics, a company that develops and distributes technology to automate and facilitate imposition and finishing for the graphic arts industry, has joined the Ghent Workgroup (GWG), an interna- tional organization of graphic arts users, associations & developers building best practices for publishing, print and packaging workflows. The Ghent Workgroup, formed in June 2002, is an international assembly of Industry Associations, Sup- pliers, Educators and Industry members. The Ghent Workgroup’s objective is to establish and disseminate process specifications for best practices in graphic arts workflows.
