Map and graph skills will be developed as well as furthering your ability to investigate problems. Numerical and statistical work throughout the course will enhance quantitative skills and you will also have the opportunity to further your enquiry skills while undertaking fieldwork. Your knowledge and understanding of the physical and human processes that affect you everyday will increase throughout the course. You will be able to critically evaluate information in order to reach decisions about global issues, which will then inform your ideas about how to address them.

Course Expectations IGCSE Geography is a dynamic and relevant subject for all young people. Students will learn about their place in the world, their responsibilities to the environment and the sustainability of the planet as well as to other people. Geography is about examining physical and human processes, monitoring change, identifying consequences and suggesting how best to manage new situations. The geographical skills that you learn along the way will equip students with a broad range of personal learning and thinking skills which are highly valued by employers and universities.
