A Levels and BTECS

What Are International A Levels?

International A Levels are globally recognised qualifications, equivalent to traditional UK A Levels, but designed with an international context in mind. They offer students the opportunity to specialise in a smaller number of subjects and pursue academic pathways leading to university education or advanced professional opportunities worldwide. Known for their depth of study, International A Levels allow students to focus intensively on their chosen areas of interest while maintaining flexibility to align with global standards. Structure of International A Levels Subject Choices : Most students select three International A Level subjects, though some may opt for four, depending on their academic goals and ambitions. Assessment : International A Levels are modular, meaning they are often assessed through exams taken at different stages over the two-year course. This allows students to focus on individual components of their studies. Coursework or practical elements may also be included in some subjects. Flexibility : The modular nature and wide range of subjects available provide students with the opportunity to tailor their education to their strengths, interests, and aspirations.
