VETERANS TRIBUTE EDITION | BUILT AMERICA MAGAZINE

Built America Magazine

Hendrix wants homeowners to feel like they dreamed the project into existence, even if he helped shape the vision. His process includes: A first call centered on the why, not just the what A detailed site visit A clear, organized proposal Zoom walkthroughs that clients rave about Weekly updates until construction begins Daily updates once the build is underway A final walkthrough determined by craftsmanship, not the county inspector “The job isn’t done until they love it. That’s the only standard that matters.” Partnerships Built on Professionalism and Trust Hendrix applies the same values to his relationships with trade partners, suppliers, and subcontractors. “It matters how we show up,” he says. “Your truck doesn’t have to be brand new, but it should look maintained. Your brand should be something you’re proud to put in front of a client’s home.” For his electricians and other subs, reliability goes both ways. “They don’t come out until I say the deck is ready — and they know that when I say it’s ready, it’s ready. The site is staged, the work is prepped, and they’re not wasting time.”
