Field Operation DEFLECTOR EXTENSION ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE

Deflector Extension should be adjusted to suit user preference for finish at edges of each wheel track.

Figure : 4.7 Direction of Bolts

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE: 1. Place a chock underneath extension deflec- tor disc to prevent dropping whilst loosening nuts/bolts 2. Slightly loosen (but do not remove) the 4x nuts/bolts securing the deflector extension to the sub-frame • CAUTION: Deflector Extension will try to drop once tension removed from bolts. A chock underneath disc is highly recom- mended. Disc edges are sharp and can cause severe injury. 3. Lift/Lower Disc Arm to desired position (this will pivot around the non-slotted hole). See 4.FIELD OPERATION - Deflector Extension Adjustment Procedure - “20000DE2 Weld- ment” . • Arm can be temporarily held in position with a chain/rope/strap if required (minimum W.L.L. 50kg). This will prevent arm dropping when tightening nuts/bolts 4. Tighten bolts to a minimum torque of 120 ft- lbs (160Nm). • If bolts removed - re-insert cup head bolt from extension to sub-frame (square un- dercup-head must be located in square slot) - hex-head bolts must be inserted from subframe towards extension. See 4. FIELD OPERATION - Deflector Extenion Adjustment Procedure - “Direction of Bolts” 5. Repeat on remaining Deflector Extensions (4 in total). Ensure all Deflector Extensions adjusted to same angle.
