Color-coded for quick identification “Plus” locks provide more valve tip protrusion “Plus” Keepers (locks) are designed to compress each spring more than OE locks, usually .030” for new springs & .060” for used springs. “Minus” keepers (locks) are designed to relax each spring, and are used for HP applications where longer valves & springs are used.
