Good Evening Bulldog Fans! We are proud to welcome you to Daikin Stadium, home of the Bulldogs, where we gather to support our student-athletes, performers, and trainers. You will see many upgrades at the stadium this year thanks to the generous sponsorship of our partner, Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. Daikin has been an incredible partner to Waller ISD and our community. They support our students at every level, and our stadium will be a daily representation of their commitment to our schools, students, and community. We could not be more thankful for their partnership and support.

Last year, Waller High School (WHS) students earned state and national recognition in UIL Academics, JROTC, Band, Choir, Culinary, Powerlifting, Dance, Texas Association of Future Educators, Agriculture, and more. I want to take a second to talk about the students who earned these outstanding achievements. While some students specialize in their “field”, many represent multiple organizations and possess a wide array of knowledge and skills thanks to the opportunities we offer at WHS. For example, during tonight’s game, you will see many of our award-winning UIL Academic team members showcasing their skills in football, cheer, band, choir, and more. Waller ISD is dedicated to making it possible for students to participate in a wide variety of academics, extracurriculars, and fine arts programs to help them find their niche. Waller ISD continues to be one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas. We project our enrollment will surpass 10,000 students districtwide this school year with over 3,000 at WHS alone. To keep up with our growth and technology needs, the Board of Trustees has ordered a Nov. 5, 2024 bond election. If approved, it would include the construction of high school #2, Junior High #3, two additional elementary schools, buses, land, and technology with no change to the existing tax rate. It is an exciting time to be part of the Waller ISD family. While we hold on to our traditional family atmosphere and personalized learning opportunities, we welcome new faces to our schools and community daily. Family is at the root of what makes us great.
