DS Smith Partners With Versuni On Coffee Machine Packaging Solution London, England based DS Smith announced a partner- ship with Versuni, a Dutch home appliance company, to create an innovative, sustainable, fibre-based packaging solution for their recently launched Philips Baristina coffee machine.

S-One LP’s flexible packaging film portfolio is com- prised of three product lines including Classic, ReTreve, and ReEarth. Classic is made from mixed plastic packaging films. Re- Treve is made from recyclable polyethylene (PE).ReEarth is made from bio- based and compostable films. Halkyard is instrumental in the development and cer- tification of ReEarth including products that have been certified by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Bio- degradable Products Institute (BPI), Composting Manufac- turers Alliance (CMA,) TUV for both OK Compost Home and Industrial, and Lomi Approved. Halkyard joined S-OneLP in 2016. He has worked for companies such as James River Corporation, Rexam, Ark- wright, Oce, and Sihl. S-OneLP will have two booths at Labelexpo from Sep- tember 10-12. Booth 6385 will give visitors the opportunity to experience the Cellcoat T14 Thermal Laminator in action with live demonstrations. The T14 features a small footprint while delivering big on performance. Booth 1353 focuses on primers, overprint varnishes and coatings, and flexible packaging films showcasing the latest packaging technology including Michelman and Kustom Koatings solutions.
