De plus, les pelouses doivent être tondues sur une base régulière. VÉLOS INTERDITS SUR LES TROTTOIRS PRENEZ NOTE QUE conformément au Règlement municipal numéro 2007-01 régissant le stationnement et la circulation à l’intérieur des limites de la Cité de Clarence-Rockland, il est strictement INTERDIT de circuler en vélo sur un trottoir public. Toute personne en contravention à ce règlement est passible d’une amende de 105 $.
For aesthetical and hygienic reasons, the City is asking all property owners / tenants to keep their property clear of accumulated debris and noxious weeds. All noxious weeds, brush, venomous or nuisance plants must be destroyed on any property, occupied or vacant. Lawns must also be kept neatly trimmed, on a regular basis. BICYCLES PROHIBITED ON SIDEWALKS TAKE NOTICE THAT pursuant to the municipal By-law Number 2007-01 regulating the traffic and parking within the limits of the City of Clarence-Rockland, it is strictly PROHIBITED to ride a bicycle on a public sidewalk. Any person in violation of this by-law is subject to a $105.00 fine.

The Municipal Law Enforcement Service is responsible for the issuance of open-air burning permits.

Please note that open-air fires are forbidden for the circumstances listed below: • between sunset and sunrise; • to burn compost and toxic waste materials; • to burn materials in a manner that bothers your neighbours. The use of an outdoor fireplace is not authorized in the urban areas of the City. Request for open-air burning approvals must be submitted 24 hours prior to the open-air burning date. You may set an appointment with the Municipal Law Enforcement Services, from Monday to Friday, at 613 446-6022, ext. 2244.
