El sol nos regala así todas las posibilidades de la luz que acompaña su recorrido y nos señala las actividades que se desarrollan a lo largo del día. Emplazado en tres terrenos fusionados, el encargo consistía en un edificio de 24 departamentos de 100 a 140 m ² que en su fachada principal recogieran la vista privilegiada y la orientación norte. Así se crearon cuatro volúmenes que se descolgaron por la pendiente, traslapados entre ellos para propiciar el asoleamiento y la vista que se tiene del valle al atardecer. Una construcción que se instala en este lugar destacado supone un gran desafío que debe hacerse con humildad y sobriedad. Así, el edificio recoge hacia la calle la escala del pueblo y respeta la vista hacia el valle de los edificios posteriores. Tanto para esa fachada como para el zócalo del lado norte se usa piedra local, de modo de fundirse con el paisaje circundante especialmente en los meses de verano. So the sun gives us all the possibilities of the light that follows its journey and shows us the activities that take place throughout the day. Set in three merged lots, the commission consisted of a building of 24 apartments ranging from 100 to 140 m ² which were to enjoy the privileged view and the northern exposure on its main façade. Thus, four volumes were designed to descend down the slope, overlapping each other so to bring sunlight and views of the valley at sunset. A building that is placed in this prominent location is a major challenge that must be done with humility and restraint. Therefore the building responds to the scale of the street and respects the views of the valley from the buildings in the back.
