Services for Youth and Young Adults

Youth Justice Program Supports youth who are involved in the Youth Criminal Justice System by supporting young people in making positive life choices. The program is delivered through one-to-one outreach support, curfew monitoring, group programing, and parenting resources. All referrals are from Surrey Youth Probations. Email............................. youthservices.info@options.bc.ca Youth Transitioning Program Provides one-to-one support to young people who require assistance in their preparation to adulthood, housing, school, employment, health services, community resources, etc. Ministry for Children and Families Development (MCFD) referrals only. Email............................. youthservices.info@options.bc.ca Life Skills Program Provides young people ages 16-26 years with life skills training.

Prep Zone is a curriculum for youth ages 16-18 years.

Survive Alive Strive is designed for young adults ages 19-26 years, who are on an Agreement for Young Adults (AYA), with the Ministry for Children and Families Development (MCFD). Email............................. youthservices.info@options.bc.ca Youth and Family Intervention Program (YFIP) YFIP is funded by the City of Surrey and is a member of the City’s CHART table. This program provides one-to- one and group intervention supports for at-risk young people ages 6-19 years and their families, who are in need of services such as gang intervention, clinical counselling, life skills training, health improvement, employment, school engagement, community connections, and other client-derived goals. YFIP is primarily delivered in the community of Newton by a team of culturally sensitive clinical counsellors and outreach workers offering services in various languages.
