Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) Supports newcomer youth aged 15-30 years with gaining employment and life skills to become ready to work in Canada. Services include employment-based workshop series, individualized career counselling, job search support, paid certificate training (First Aid, FOODSAFE, etc.) and referrals to local youth services and programs in the community. Participants are supported to assess their strengths, identify their career goals and utilize the information, resources and networks available to find meaningful employment.
