The 110.02 liner is a compression joint modular brick liner laid out in a running bond (half bond) pattern. The pocket size is designed for a brick that is shorter than the 7 - 5/8” length specification . The layout is 8” center of joint to center of joint horizontally, and 8” center/center every three bricks vertically. The compression joint fits snugly against the sides of the brick to help control slurry leakage . It also flexes enough to accommodate a variation in the brick length due to the nature of a kiln fired clay based product. See below for examples of finished product.
