This year ’ s Session will start on Wednesday, June 1 1 , 202 5 , and end on Sunday, June 1 5 , 202 5 . The 202 5 Annual Session of Esther Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, will be held simultaneously as the Grand Lodge and some of our functions, such as the Honors and Awards Banquet and Worship Service, will be joint functions.

I hereby “ Call ” the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons for the State of Louisiana, to convene in its 202 5 Annual Communication in the city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on June 1 1 - 1 5 , 202 5 . This Call is issued by the authority of Article III, Section I of our Constitution, and by the authority invested in me as the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Prince Hall Masons for the State of Louisiana.
The Worshipful Master, Senior Warden, and Junior Warden of each Lodge are required to register for the Grand Lodge Session.
Every Worshipful Master, Senior, and Junior Warden, Past Master, and Officer of the Grand Lodge will take due notice thereof, govern themselves accordingly, and make every effort to attend.

Convention Policy for Registration and Hotel Reservations • Hotel Reservation Deadline: To secure guaranteed hotel reservations at the official session rate of $117.00, reservations must be made by May 1 2 , 2025 . After this date, the reserved room blocks will be released, and hotels may charge higher rates. • How to Reserve a Room: To make your reservation, click the Reservation link below or Call the hotel directly at (225) 924-5000 before May 12 , 2025. • Cancellation Policy: o Cancellations made on or before May 1 2 , 2025, can be made without penalty. o Cancellations made after May 1 2 , 2025, will be subject to the hotel’s cancellation policies, including forfeiture of the first night’s room charge and applicable taxes.

Session Registration •
The advanced registration begins now through May 15, 202 5 - $2 5 0.00, starting May 16, 202 5 , through May 31, 202 5 - $2 7 5.00. From June 1, 202 5 , through June 7 , 202 5 , registration will be $2 8 5.00. On-site registration will be $ 30 0.00 . The registration includes tickets for the Friday and Saturday luncheon and the Friday night Joint Banquet, as well as the reception after the Lodge of Sorrow and Queen’s Coronation. • The Lodge of Sorrow Services will be held on Thursday night in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom at 7:30 p.m. • An occasional Lodge of Master Masons will be opened on Friday, June 1 3 , 202 5 , at 8:30 a. m. in the Marriott Grand Ballroom. • Masonic attire is required for the Thursday night Lodge of Sorrow Services and Friday ’ s opening session.
• The preferred attire for Friday ’ s Joint Honors and Awards Banquet is White Coat and Black Pants.
• Masonic dress is preferred for the Saturday and Sunday meetings but not required. • The “ Dance, ” will be held on Saturday, June 1 4 , 202 5 , from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. ( TBD ). Tickets may be secured at Grand Session and the Grand Lodge. Tickets are $20.00 , and no tickets will be sold at the d oor . Proxy • Any lodge whose constitutional representative will be unable to attend is requested to write Grand Master Ralph Slaughter, Post Office Box 2974, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70821 - 2974 for PROXY FORMS by May 15, 202 5 . The PROXY should be filled out, properly signed, and returned to him with the Seal of Lodge imprinted . Grand Lodge License Plate The Grand Lodge License plates are still available; the cost is your basic fee plus $25.00. A copy of your driver ’ s license, proof of insurance, a copy of your dues card, and a check or money order for the amount due.

For the State of Louisiana and its Jurisdiction Greetings: This document provides information about the degree work that will be performed at the 202 5 Annual Session. Grand Master Slaughter has authorized the conferral of degrees at the session. He has granted a dispensation for bypassing the normal degree frequency and the number of candidates as outlined in Article 8, Sections 11 & 12 of the Prince Hall Masonic Code of Louisiana. The purpose of these ceremonies is to demonstrate the ritualistic and unwritten work of the Order, as well as the vital importance of uniformity when conferring degrees throughout the jurisdiction. • The Grand Lodge Degree Work will not require any additional fees from candidates. • Candidates for the Master Mason degree must register for the Grand Session to receive their degree. • A representative from the candidate's lodge should be at the degree work to support the candidate. • Before a degree can be awarded, applicants must be investigated, balloted, and approved by their Lodge. • The names of candidates should be sent to the DDGM, who will forward them to the Chief of
Staff by June 10, 202 5 (no approval by DDGM, no degree). • Lodges are responsible for supplying candidates with aprons. Note: The candidates must arrive 30 minutes before the start of the degree work.

The result of which will yield a solid masonic educational foundation. • Candidates for certification must be registered for the Grand Session. • Registration for all Certifications must be completed by June 1 1 , 202 5 . • Grand Lodge Officers must attain Level 1 certification by November 1, 2024; Levels 2 and 3 must be completed by November 1, 2025. • Non-Grand Lodge Officers may certify at their discretion.
