Welcome Our New Administrators

LEANDER CORMAN Special Education Coordinator for ABRHS Leander has worked for the past 16 years as a Special Education Administrator. Prior to becoming an administrator, her experi- ence includes working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, Special Educa- tion Teacher, and Educational Consultant. She has had opportunities to present at and attend multiple national conferences. Leander’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation Services, a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership with Principal and Special Education Administrator certifications. JENNIFER GIUSTO Assistant Principal for McCarthy-Towne Elementary Jennifer Giusto joins McCarthy-Towne School as the new Assistant Principal for the upcoming school year, bringing with her 18 years of experience in elementary education. She has spent nine years in t

license, she worked as a grade 3 and grade 5 classroom teacher in Belmont and Lawrence, MA as well as Colombia, South America. Ms. Babson earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and an M. Ed in Elementary Education from the University of New Hampshire. EDEN DUNCKEL Special Education Coordinator for McCarthy-Towne Elementary and Merriam Elementary Eden joins us from Nashoba Regional School District where she was Team Chair in Bolton. Prior to that, she worked in independent schools: Fenn School as a Director of Learning Support and 8th grade English teacher, and Bridgton Acad- emy as Director of Disability Services as well as English and History teacher. Eden began her career in school psychology in MA and continued in TN and AK. She has come full circle by returning to A-B where both her children and she attend/attended

he classroom teaching second grade and working with Multilingual Learners (MLL), followed by nine years as an Assistant Principal in a public school in Worcester. Jennifer lives in Sterling with her husband and their two elementary-aged children. A passionate reader who enjoys spending time with friends and family, she is excited to become an active member of the Acton-Boxborough community! JULIE BABSON Assistant Principal for Blanchard Elementary Julie Babson is the new Assistant Principal at the Blanchard Memorial School. She comes to the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District with nine years of admin- istrative experience and 18 years of elemen- tary teaching experience. Prior to Blanchard, Ms. Babson was the principal of the Butler Elementary School, a K-3 school in Belmont, MA and an assistant principal at the Hopkins Elementary School, a grades 4–5 school in Hopkinton, MA. Before Ms. Babson received her administrative

NATALIA KIERUL Director of Special Education Natalia Kierul serves as the Director of Special Education for the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District. With a career spanning over a decade in education, she brings deep experience as a classroom teacher, college instructor, and special education administrator. Most recently, she served as Assistant Director of Special Education in Framingham, where she led initiatives to strengthen inclusive practices, align supports with MTSS frameworks, and close achievement gaps for students with disabilities. Natalia is deeply commit- ted to fostering equitable, supportive, and culturally responsive learning envi- ronments where every student can thrive. Guided by the belief that “Leadership is not about being in charge. It’s about taking care of those in your charge,” she approaches her work with empathy, innovation, and purpose.
