Compact Variable Speed Drive
The M1 inverter is a variable frequency drive designed to control the speed of AC motors by adjusting electromagnetic fields, making it a critical component in any application using an induction motor. Omron’s M1 is available in three communication protocols, RS-485, EtherCAT ® , and EtherNet/IP™ (EMP) and delivers a strong set of features to support a wide range of industrial needs. The EtherCAT ® version, in particular, enables tight integration of safety and network control, allowing it to function as part of a broader motion control system within Omron’s portfolio, all designed and managed through the Sysmac environment.
