The Sylvac Taper Gage Smart is a Swiss-made, wireless taper (gap) gauge designed for measuring slot, gap, and taper widths with high precision. It features Bluetooth® connectivity for seamless data transmission and is ruggedly built to resist industrial environments, with IP67 protection and a “one-push” operation ideal for repetitive alignment tasks. The Taper Gage Smart from Sylvac is a professional gap and thickness measuring instrument that integrates a Smart Inductive System (SIS) with wireless Bluetooth® output. It’s engineered for fast, repeatable measurements — simply push once to take a reading. Thanks to its IP67-rated housing, it can withstand exposure to water, coolant, and lubricants, making it reliable on the shop floor. The gauge is available in three measuring ranges (0.5 – 5.5mm, 0.5 –17.5mm, 12.5–28.5mm) and delivers a resolution of 0.01mm, repeatability of 10µm, and a maximum error of 30µm. Lightweight but robust (weight from 270g to 510g depending on the model), it’s ideal for applications such as turbine blade alignment, rotor gap checks, and precision gap measurement across the automotive, aeronautics, packaging, and machine-tool industries.
