XT Thread Heads – The Complete Modular Solution As the world’s leading bore gauge manufacturer, we offer a range of standard thread heads that are specifically designed for precision thread diameter measurement. We also hold a large amount of popular sized metric and imperial thread heads and rings in stock. Each of our thread heads can be fitted directly to our XT Digital Micrometer Controllers or XT Holematic Pistol Grip Controllers in seconds, enabling fast and seamless setup. Once you have your controller, multiple heads can be used interchangeably with ease, delivering fast, efficient measurement with exceptionally accurate results that can be digitally recorded. The Bowers XT range is highly adaptable, allowing users of our XT Digital Micrometer Controllers or XT Holematic Pistol Grip Controllers to switch between heads quickly and efficiently for maximum flexibility and precision across applications. Custom Thread Gauging Measuring a non-standard thread size? No problem, we can still help. If our generic thread anvil profile is not suitable for your application, please contact us with your requirements and our team will design a bespoke head, perfectly tailored to fit your specific application. Our custom application heads can be fitted directly onto our XT range of internal micrometers to create a flexible, modular measuring system.
