OPM Installs Nilpeter FA4
OPM Group, Leeds, UK, has installed a 14-color Nilpeter FA4 flexo press with inline finishing.OPM has been running Nilpeter flexo technology for 30 years. The press is configured with a Martin Automation MBS automatic butt-splicer, an LRD automatic transfer rewind and anAVT Helios 6 inspection system. With an output of labels and flexible packaging espe- cially favored in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sec- tors,OPM will run its FA4 alongside a Nilpeter FA6 with a similar inline setup.The Nilpeter FA4 runs with a web width of 420mm and prints at speeds up to 175m/min. It has been installed by OPM with de- and re-lamination, UV-lamination, die-cut, screen, hot-foil, cold-foil, emboss- ing, in-setting and cross-over printing units. Retroflex Plans $1.5 Million Expansion In Wisconsin Retroflex, Inc. announced a $1.5 million expansion to its Wrightstown, Wisconsin facility. This 12,500- square-foot expansion is scheduled to begin soon and will include a considerable increase to its ma- chine assembly floor, equipment processing capabili- ties, customer support inventory area, additional office space for mechanical and electrical engineer- ing, equipment sales and customer service/support as well as an additional conference room.The expan- sion will also add climate control for all raw and process materials and components.
