• Regular engagement between the Knight Harwood project team, neighbours and local authorities will be undertaken prior to works commencing.
Local Factors Considered:
• Working activities will strictly be undertaken during the agreed times, which will minimise our impact on members of the public, and the building tenants. The project is within close proximity of the local residents and businesses. Noisy work will only be permitted subject to Knight Harwood ’ s agreement/ approval.
Lighting
The Knight Harwood team will provide suitable and sufficient lighting.
Electricity
Where practicable, the PCC team will use battery powered tools. However, if this cannot be achieved then 110v power tools will be used. All electrical items will be PA tested, and records will be filed within the PCC safety folder & head office. It is the legal duty of principal contractor/ client to supply suitable and sufficient welfare facilities. The Knight Harwood project team will provide toilets, drying room, and canteen. PCC’s working activities are being undertaken internally, and it is not foreseen that the weather conditions will affect our works. However, this will be monitored regularly, and the PCC supervisor will decide if works should cease.
