A suitable and sufficient exclusion zone(s) will be erected within the loading area during the materials transportation into the building. It has foreseen that minimal pedestrians will be affected by our works, as all loading and unloading activities will be undertaken within an exclusive loading area, which is manned by a trained traffic marshal. The PCC team will display suitable and appropriate safety signage, making persons aware of any foreseeable hazards. Additionally, a full exclusion zone will be erected to prevent members of the public entering our work areas. Material storage will be kept to a minimum. PCCs plant and equipment will be stored within the Mulgrave Theatre building, ensuring clear route(s) are maintained at all times. All materials will be stored on the floors, and not stood up against the walls, in preparation for the external paint’s removal works. No materials will be stored on or near the staircase landings.

It is not foreseen that PCC will use vibrating tools during our internal painting activities. However, In the unlikely event our working teams use vibrating tools we shall implement the following: • All vibration activities will be recorded on a HAV sheet, and the records will be kept for 3 years after the project finishes. Operatives will take regular breaks and alternate the use of any vibrating tools. • The vibration magnitude will be monitored, ensuring PCC operatives do not exceed their daily limit. It is not foreseeable that PCC will be undertaking noisy works during our working activities. However, our operatives will remain respectful to the Knight Harwood project teams and the local community by adhering the noisy works programme which will be outlined by Knight Harwood. The team will be advised that shouting is not permitted unless for emergency purposes only.
