Mulgrave Theatre Hurlingam Club estate Knight Harwood

During our internal painting work activities, it is foreseeable that PCC will produce airborne dust particles. However, PCC recognise the chronic & acute damage posed by dust and will always endeavour to eliminate airborne dust at source. In the unlikely event that PCC produce dust from our working activities we will ensure that water is used to dilute dust particles at source. In addition, we would deploy a dust extractor and segregate our works from others who may be affected.

Dust Management

Cutting will be undertaken off site when reasonably practicable to do so.

PCC will use M/ H-type hoovers during cutting or cleaning activities, to ensure all particles are being extracted from the work area, and sufficent segregation. During dust producing working activities, all PCC operatives will be wearing a force 8 half mask with suitable filters attached. Prior to wearing the mask, our operatives will have undergone a face fit test for the respective mask, ensuring its suitable. Records of the face fit tests can be found within the PCC safety folder and head office. All operatives who wear face masks shall be clean shaven. PCC operatives will be educated on the risks of dust prior to working within a construction environment.
