directed, lasting changes, aligned with their values, which promote health and wellness and, thereby, enhance well-being. In the course of their work, health and wellness coaches display unconditional positive regard for their clients and a belief in their capacity for change, and honoring that each client is an expert on his/her life, while ensuring that all interactions are respectful and non-judgemental. Simply put, wellness coaches are allies that partner with you as you develop winning strategies to meet the challenges you are facing and achieve the goals most important to you. They may be health related (weight reduction, stress management, looking at diet and exercise changes that affect conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure, etc), lifestyle related (home organization and decluttering, help with growth/development issues within the family, finding time in life for relaxation while maintaining a work schedule, etc), or about learning the many changes that are coming up in medical and lifestyle research that may be a new fit into your wellness plan. Your coach is by your side, helping you create the steps that will work for you and keep you moving in the direction of your goals. We don’t believe in ‘failing’ when things don’t work, we look at them as learning experiences to gain insight as to why that step might not have worked and use it to help create one that might be a better fit for you. So, welcome to the world of wellness coaching. Welcome to a new option to meet your health and wellness goals and create the life style you will love!
