Qualifications: Professional qualification in construction or procurement related subject or equivalent qualification Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Experience: Previous cost management work experience within a complex Estates, facilities management or construction environment. Experience of working in Higher Education Understanding of public procurement requirements and the Public Contracts Regulations (2015) Experience of completing and executing various forms of Contract including Building Contracts and Professional Services Contracts Experience in procurement strategies and compiling Tender and Contract documentation on a range of Procurement routes Experience in the NEC Suite of Contracts Experience of completing Valuations, Interim Certificates and Final Accounts Experienced in managing budgets for projects and facilities management contracts Experience in the management and monitoring of the performance of external Consultants and Contractors Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of current construction Health and Safety Legislation Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Office and an expert in the use of spreadsheets Detailed Knowledge of RIBA Plan of Work 2013
