Thursday, July 4 / 6–10 p.m. Join Pearland Parks & Recreation as we celebrate the nation’s birthday. A traditional military salute will kick off the evening’s entertainment, followed by a performance on the H.E.B. Entertainment Stage from country music star Jake Worthington (runner- up on Season 6 of NBC’s “The Voice”). Additional entertainment includes virtual reality games, a free photo booth, interactive activities, craft vendors, food trucks and a spectacular fireworks display, unleashed by VCA Westside Animal Hospital. Jake Worthington was named “Runner-Up” on the 6th
season of NBC’s hit TV Show, “The Voice”. Jake released 3 top Billboard top 20 songs while filming the show. His success from “The Voice” has led to a large Social Media presence with nearly 250,000 followers. Jake’s first EP, released in 2015, debuted at #16 on the Billboard Heat Seekers and #44 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. The Houston native is currently working on his debut album and touring across the United States.
