cask, the position of the transportation cask is adjusted until it is aligned horizontally with the storage cask to within ± 1/8 inch. Operations will fully insert the transportation cask into the docking collar on the storage cask access opening using the skid positioning system. Once this is completed operations will secure the transportation cask upper trunnions to the storage cask via the docking collar using the cask restraints. After the transportation cask restraints are installed, operations will use optical survey equipment to verify that the alignment of the transportation cask is correct and then connect the pintle to the canister as shown in Figure 6-4.
