ii. In addition, a cost assessment would be required to compare the expense of laying new rail track versus the cost of alternate transport means. c. Examine the required work to modify the current ISFSI access road to support heavy- haul truck transports i. If barging off the site is pursued, the road between the ISFSI and the barging site (north from the ISFSI) will need to be addressed, whereas using truck transport will require the road south of the ISFSI. ii. This would require a formal survey of the current capacity of the roadway iii. In addition, a cost assessment would be required to compare the expense of upgrading the roadway versus the cost of alternate transport means. iv. Since the current transfer equipment located at the BRP site does not include the transfer trailer, skid, and skid positioning system, recommend designing, fabricating, and using a modified skid positioning system to position the TS125 cask at the canister transfer area in an optimal manner to allow docking it to the W150 storage cask for the transfer of the W74 canister. 4. Verify a loaded TS125 cask can be moved in the horizontal position within the intermodal frame without the cask impact limiters installed. Alternatively, or in addition, establish if single failure proof lifting equipment is required for the loaded cask lifting operations on the premises of the Part 72 licensed site if the lifting operations have to be carried out beyond the safety basis of the Part 72 SAR.
