We loved your content so much that we’d love to use it to promote our brands and inspire others.
We’ve asked for your permission to do so by commenting on your social media post or by direct contact through email. By responding to our request with #YesCrownPaints you agree to our terms and conditions as outlined below .
Who we are
We are Crown Paints Limited and Crown Paints Ireland Ltd (“Crown Paints”). Our registered offices are: • Crown House, Hollins Road, Darwen, Lancashire, BB3 0BG • 2/3 Exchange Place, I.F.S.C. Dublin 1
Our brands include: Crown, Crown Trade, Sadolin, Sandtex, Sandtex Trade, Macpherson and Crown Decorating Centres.
What we do with your content
By permitting us to use your content you grant Crown Paints a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable right to promote the brands above, where relevant, in the UK and Republic of Ireland by: 1. Hosting and displaying in electronic formats. 2. Displaying and creating derivative works for use on our websites, social media, blog, marketing emails and printed media.
Terms of use
We can only use content you provide if you have the rights to give us license. By giving us permission to use your content, you agree that:
1.
You are over 18 years old.
2. You own the rights to any photography or content shared with us. 3. Content does not contain any third-party trademark or copyrighted material, or infringes on and third-party proprietary rights. 4. You have the consent of any identifiable individuals in your content. 5. If a child under the age of 18 appears you must confirm that the child’s parent or guardian has given consent on their behalf. 6. Where permission to use your content has been given, you agree not to enforce any legal claim against us for reuse without seeking an amicable resolution first.
Withdrawing your permission
You may terminate this agreement any time by emailing privacy@crownpaints.co.uk
We will cease to use your content on digital platforms within a reasonable (1 calendar month) period and delete it from our records. Any content which has been used in printed materials and already in the market cannot be withdrawn, but your content will be removed from any subsequent prints.
Jurisdiction
These terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales and of the Republic of Ireland.
